About the Role:
We seek an experienced and independent Mobile PICC RN to join our Houston-based vascular access team. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering ultrasound-guided PICC line insertions and vascular access services in patient homes, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals.

This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering ultrasound-guided PICC line insertions and vascular access services in patient homes, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals.
The ideal candidate is clinically strong, self-directed, and confident, working in the field with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound-guided PICC line insertions in both home and facility settings
- Conduct patient assessments to determine the appropriate vascular access plan
- Educate patients and caregivers on PICC line care and post-procedure protocols
- Accurately document procedures following clinical and legal standards
- Maintain professional communication with care teams, providers, and facility staff
Required Qualifications:
- Active Texas RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of independent PICC line insertion experience
- Proficiency in ultrasound-guided vascular access
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Houston metro area
- Ability to operate independently and exercise sound clinical judgment
Preferred Experience:
- Midlines, peripheral IVs, and other advanced access techniques
- Prior mobile care or home health experience
- Comfort with EMR documentation tools in the field

Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
